Collagraph printing was invented in the 1950s and remains a great way of making unique handmade pieces of artwork.
Printmaker Dave Elsom will teach you how to create your own mountboard "plate" which you'll build up using other pieces of mountboard and cardboard to create fun, lively images which you'll print out onto paper and card to keep.
Using inspiration from the stunning gardens at Thornbridge Hall, you'll make botanical-themed work. While water-based inks are used (which usually come out of clothes easily) We always recommend you don't wear your Sunday best!
Enjoy lunch while your creations dry and take a wander around the 10 acres of gardens
