Learn to Lino Print!
Join Oaklea Crafts at Quackers cafe for a 3-hour Botanical-themed Lino Printing Workshop!
Lino printing is a form of fine art printmaking where the printing plate is cut into lino (as in linoleum, the floor covering). The lino is then inked, a piece of paper is placed over it and pressure is applied by hand to transfer the ink to the paper. The result is a linocut print!
In this 3-hour workshop, you will first wander our formal gardens to gain inspiration and then be taken through the lino printing process, creating your own lino stamp that then can be used to create your own greeting cards or postcards. You can take your lino stamp home and use it again.
Attendees can also enjoy all-day free access to our 14 acres of formal gardens (until 4pm) and we are including a discount voucher for Quackers Cafe so why not make a day of it?
The ticket price includes all materials and free all-day access to our formal gardens (10am-4pm).
£40 per person plus booking fee.
Attendees will receive a 20% off voucher to use at Quackers cafe on the day.
Limited to 10 places.
